Are you wondering if God is calling you to a role in the Church of England? That could be as a Local Missional Leader (LML), a variety of ordained roles, Chaplain or as a Reader.

During this event we will hear from Bishop John and his desire to see a continued flourishing of all Christian vocations in all kinds of places and within that the discerning of specific callings to these roles at this time in our diocese.

This event will introduce you to some people who have recently been through the discernment processes and training for these roles. You will meet members of the diocesan Vocations Team who will be able to answer any questions you have including helping you with taking your next steps. You will also have the opportunity to hear from some of our training providers.

The event is designed to allow you to find out as much information as possible, hear some real stories of how others have experienced exploring these roles recently and to take away information to help you in the most appropriate next stage.

If you want to just come and listen there will be no pressure to do anything more, but there will also be plenty of time to talk to everyone taking part in the event to ask your specific questions. Come alone or bring someone to support you, you will be most welcome.
